He knew nothing but captivity until nearly a year ago, when he was released into the light. The humans who held him prisoner for forty years have taken them away. Now he’ll release them on a beautiful stranger whose own secret desires are longing to be sated… He was once a captive, but his urges were never caged. I am actually looking forward to it and I still consider this a favorite series of mine. It won’t stop me from reading the next book, however. I just don’t care as much as I wanted to and I actually put the book down for a few days and read something else. I feel like it just goes from one thing to another with little detail in between. The small scenes between Walker and Rebecca are more interesting to me than the rest of the book.

I want to know more about Tiger’s past, and I definitely want to know more about Walker. So many things could have been…just more. I know Jennifer Ashley can do that, but she didn’t here, not for me.Īnother thing is I feel the book is too short. Mate bonds have always bothered me a bit, but a really great author can make me forget that. I never felt them building a relationship with each other. Tiger knows she is his mate as soon as he sees her, but that is as far as it gets. I love Tiger and I really wanted him to have an amazing heroine. I couldn’t even describe her now if I was asked to, not physically and certainly not personality-wise. Nothing about her stands out to me and I don’t feel like I really know who she is. I have been trying to figure it out and I think the biggest thing is Carly. I am not sure exactly what it was I don’t like this story. I really loved the previous one in the series, so I had high hopes. I am sad to say I was a bit disappointed in this book.
